Welcome to Bob Sweeney's Picture Page

Pretend you see a picture of me in the Swiss Alps.

This picture was taken in the summer of 1998 in Geneva, Switzerland. I was under contract to the United Nations. Geneva is a wonderful city, really cosmopolitan but small and "homey" as well. Geneva lies in the shadows of Mt. Blanc, the greatest of all the Swiss, German, Italian, and French Alps. I call Geneva the "perfect" city because it has strong influences in German, Italian, and French cultures. But the best part of all is the fact that there are so many Americans and Brits here that its no trouble finding someone to who speaks English. It has many comfortable English and Irish pubs, Muldoons and Flanagans being two of the more popular ones. If you visit Geneva you must visit Mr. Pickwick's, an excellent place to find a warm atmosphere, a hearty bite to eat, and lots of friendly people. You will find it on the rue de Lausanne, just a few blocks from the train station.

Now that you have gotten this far, wouldn't you like to see a picture of my son? Its as easy as clicking here to  See Ryan . Otherwise, you can  Return to Bob's Home Page .

I've made my pages a little on the "conservative" side because I want them to render quickly. If you have and comments to make please direct them to  BobSweeney  and I will promptly respond.
